About Genesis Housing, Inc.
Genesis is a non-profit, locally owned and managed organization dedicated to providing low-cost rental housing for the elderly. Genesis Housing Inc. manages the Heartland Affordable Housing funded by Wisconsin Economic Development Association under a contract.
How We Conduct Our Business:
A volunteer board of directors composed of 9 members establishes and enforces rules and polices.
A manager and maintenance staff conduct day-to-day business operations and respond to resident needs.
Heartland Affordable Housing works with the Genesis board and managers to manage and maintain the properties. These properties are tax tax credit under Sec. 42 of the U.S. Code.
